Ingredients
For the Salmon:
🐟 1 salmon fillet (skin-on or off)
🧂 Salt & pepper, to taste
🍋 1 tsp olive oil
🍋 1/2 tsp lemon juice
For the Bowl:
🥦 1/2 cup steamed broccoli
🥗 1/4 cup cooked green beans
🍅 1 small tomato, halved
🥚 1 boiled egg, halved
🍚 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
🌿 Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Quinoa:
Rinse 1/4 cup quinoa thoroughly.
Cook it in a saucepan with 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil, then simmer until water is absorbed (about 12-15 minutes). Set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Salmon:
Season the salmon with salt, pepper, olive oil, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook salmon for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden and flaky. Set aside.
3️⃣ Steam the Veggies:
Steam the broccoli and green beans until tender but still vibrant. Set aside.
4️⃣ Boil the Egg:
Place the egg in boiling water and cook for 8-10 minutes. Peel and slice in half.
5️⃣ Assemble the Bowl:
Layer the cooked quinoa at the base of the bowl.
Add the salmon, steamed broccoli, green beans, sliced tomato, and boiled egg.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
