Ingredients:

4 ripe tomatoes (diced or thinly sliced)

1 medium cucumber (diced or thinly sliced)

1 medium red onion (thinly sliced)

1 green bell pepper or Turkish green pepper (sliced thinly)

½ cup fresh parsley (finely chopped)

¼ cup fresh mint (optional, finely chopped)

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

1 teaspoon pomegranate molasses (optional but traditional)

Salt to taste

Freshly ground black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon sumac (optional, for tangy flavor)


Instructions:

Prepare the Vegetables: Wash all vegetables thoroughly. Dice or slice the tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and green pepper into desired sizes.

Mix the Salad: In a large mixing bowl, combine the tomatoes, cucumber, onion, green pepper, parsley, and mint (if using).
