Tuna Salad Bowl 🥗🐟
Ingredients:
🥬 Romaine lettuce or mixed greens (1 cup)
🐟 Canned tuna (in water or oil, drained)
🥑 1 avocado (sliced)
🥕 1/2 cup shredded carrots
🍅 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
🥒 1/2 cucumber (sliced)
🌽 1/4 cup sweet corn (cooked)
🧅 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
🌿 Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Dressing:
🍋 2 tablespoons lemon juice
🫒 2 tablespoons olive oil
🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
🥄 1 teaspoon honey or Dijon mustard (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Base:
Lay a bed of lettuce or mixed greens in a large bowl.
Add the Toppings:
Arrange the tuna, avocado slices, shredded carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, sweet corn, and green onions in separate sections on top of the greens.
Make the Dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, honey or mustard (if using), salt, and pepper.
Assemble:
Drizzle the dressing over the salad.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for a finishing touch.
